MyPillow, led by Mike Lindell, is facing backlash after offering a discount of $14.88 for pillows.
One may wonder why the price is causing such a huge uproar and why the company has been accused of spreading hate and using a symbol synonymous with the Nazis.
Incidentally, Mike Lindell is no stranger to controversies and is a big proponent of conspiracy theories connected with the 2020 elections, having faced past legal and financial repercussions.

MyPillow’s $14.88 Discount Sparks Controversy Linked to Nazi Symbolism
What has surprised everyone is that despite the mounting criticism and alarm, there has been an absolute silence from Mike Lindell and MyPillow regarding public concern about the pricing decision.
The advertisements were streamed from Friday, promising consumers the “ultimate comfort upgrade.”
“Sleep like a dream with our Standard MyPillow for just $14.88!” the posts read in part.
For advocates of white supremacist and Nazi ideology, the number “1488” is a holy grail. The number 14 is an acronym representing the slogan “We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children,” while the number 88 refers to the Nazi war cry “Heil Hitler,” with H being the 8th letter of the alphabet.
The number is often seen in graffiti, graphics, and tattoos, even in screen names and email addresses of white supremacists, who often price their wares, such as apparel and music CDs, at $14.88.
MyPillow, a bedding manufacturer helmed by the controversial conspiracy theorist Mike Lindell, kicked off a big storm with the discount on pillows for $14.88, followed by an advertising blitz across numerous social media platforms like X, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. The advertisement also showed Lindell clutching two pillows with the price of $14.88.
Lindell is a diehard ally of former President Donald Trump and has claimed that the 2020 U.S. Presidential elections were rigged and stolen from Trump. In 2021, Lindell even offered a bounty of $5 million to anyone who could win his “Prove Mike Wrong Challenge” and negate the data supporting his election fraud claims.
